This recipe makes a delicious blast-chilled iced coffee by plunging directly over ice. The brew is a bit stronger than for a hot coffee, since some of the ice will melt and dilute it.

How to brew

Place a paper filter in the cap and rinse with hot water.

Fill a medium-sized glass with 8 to 10 ice cubes.

Add 30 g of ground coffee to the brew chamber.

Pour 100 g of hot water over the coffee. Twist the AeroPress as you pour to help saturate all the grounds.

Stir using the paddle.

Pour an additional 50 g of hot water.

Fasten the filter cap and let sit.

Flip the AeroPress, give it a swirl, and press into the glass. Stop when you hear a hissing sound.
