How to brew
- 1
Place two paper filters in the cap and attach it to the brew chamber. No need to rinse the filters.
- 2
Add 18 g of ground coffee to the brew chamber. Give it a shake to even out the grounds.
- 3
Quickly pour 60 g of hot water into the brew chamber.
- 4
Using the paddle, stir back and forth 10 times to saturate all the grounds.
- 5
Pour an additional 165 g of hot water.
- 6
Stir back and forth, slowly working your way to the bottom and then back up again.
- 7
Insert the plunger at the top of the brew chamber. Let steep.
- 8
Remove the plunger and stir back and forth, slowly working your way to the bottom and then back up again.
- 9
Press gently into the cup. Continue through the hiss but avoid compacting the bed of coffee.
- 10
Pour the coffee back and forth between two carafes, then swirl in order to aerate and cool down the brew.
