The Real Sprometheus — Pourover

TRecipe by The Real Sprometheus·aeromatic.app

What happens if you don't press your AeroPress? It may sound crazy, but you can actually use it to make a pourover coffee — and it works really well.

Ingredients

  • 15 grams of ground coffee
  • 240 grams of 100ºC water

How to brew

  1. 1

Place a paper filter in the cap and rinse with hot water.

  2. 2

Add 15 g of ground coffee to the brew chamber. Give it a shake to even out the grounds.

  3. 3

Pour 240 g of hot water over the grounds.

  4. 4

Give it a stir and let the water drip through.

  5. 5

Once the water level hits about level 1 on the chamber, give the AeroPress a quick swirl.

  6. 6

Remove the AeroPress once the water level hits the grounds.
