WAC 2017 Runner-Up
This recipe mostly uses a very coarse grind, but also adds a sprinkle of very fine grounds for a bit of flavor diversity. Use two paper filters for a cleaner cup.

Place two paper filters in the cap and rinse with hot water. Discard the rinse water.

How to brew

Place two paper filters in the cap and rinse with hot water. Discard the rinse water.

Add 28 g of very coarsely ground coffee to the brew chamber.

Add 1.5 g of very finely ground coffee to the brew chamber.

Pour 70 g of hot water over the grounds.

Stir 20 times.

Pour an additional 100 g of hot water.

Fasten the filter cap, flip, and press into a cup.

Top up the brew with 75 g of hot water.
