Terms of Use

BrewBuddy is a free tool for brewing better coffee. These terms keep it fair for you, for roasters, and for the creators whose techniques it references.

Last updated: 5 July 2026. By using brewbuddy.app you agree to these terms. Questions: buddy@brewbuddy.app.

The service

BrewBuddy provides coffee recipes, brewing tools, a bean catalog, a journal, and a voice-guided brew coach — currently free of charge. It's run by an individual developer; features may change, and we may suspend or discontinue parts of the service. If a paid tier ever arrives, nothing you already rely on for free will silently move behind it.

Your account & your content

  • You're responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure.
  • Your content stays yours. Tasting notes, brew logs, and recipes you create belong to you. You grant us only the license needed to store them and show them back to you.
  • You can stop using BrewBuddy at any time and request deletion of your account and data (see the Privacy Policy).

Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service: no attempting to access other users' data, disrupting the infrastructure, scraping at volumes that degrade it, or using it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

Bean catalog & third parties

The bean catalog aggregates publicly listed products from Indian specialty roasters to help you discover coffee. Every listing links to the roaster's own page. Roaster names and products remain their trademarks; BrewBuddy is not affiliated with or endorsed by them, and we don't sell coffee. Prices and availability can lag the roaster's site — always confirm there. If you're a roaster and want a listing corrected or removed, email us and we'll act promptly.

Some creator recipes are adapted from publicly published brew guides, with attribution and a link to the original source. If you're a creator and want an adaptation changed or removed, tell us.

Brewing, disclaimers & liability

Recipes involve boiling water, hot equipment, and — with the moka pot — pressurised brewing. Follow your equipment's instructions and use common sense; you brew at your own risk. BrewBuddy is provided "as is", without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for it — which, today, is nothing.

Governing law & changes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in India having jurisdiction. If the terms change materially, the date above changes with it; continued use after a change means acceptance.
